We visited Macho Burger during the soft opening of their brick and mortar store, having never been to the food truck. The burgers are awesome (we tried a plain burger, the mushroom swiss, and the black bean burger) and the fries were fantastic. Excited to have them in the neighborhood. According to my daughters "we can absolutely come here again."

This used to be a cozy German place, but I was excited to see it turn into a burger place! I stopped by for a quick solo bite, and got a mushroom Swiss burger and tots, with a Topo Chico. They do take out, but the layout is mostly fine in with table service (which is a fun twist, since it’s just burgers!) I enjoyed the vibe though, it was groups of friends and families just enjoying burgers together. It had a calm neighborhood feeling. Worth the trip to upper Ave if you’re in the UDistrict, and worth the walk if you’re in Ravenna or Roosevelt.

Best tater tots in my life!!! Imagine a McD hashbrown in mini form, with the best dipping sauces this side of the Mississippi. Excited to try the Veggie Burger on the next visit!

Really good sandwiches. I had tried their Crispy Chicken and the Black Bean veggie sandwich. Both were good but the veggie became my favorite. Loved the medley of vegetables and the veggie patty. I used to be a regular at the food truck which came by my office but after the pandemic, they stopped. Glad to see them on DoorDash :)

Once again Carlos of Macho Burgers delivers a culinary experience worthy of a street of dreams. Macho Burgers catered our annual bbq for Grousemont Estates. It was outstanding. Carlos was adaptable as the number of attendees kept increasing day before. There wasn’t much wait at the peak of demand, and several people commented to me how really good their burger was. I sampled a fish and chips day after. It reheated really well and tasted great! I will be conflicted next time, burger or fish… :-/ Carlos has done a great job creating a thin batter. Their dipping sauces are equally impressive. I suggest branching out on sauces, they are all really tasty. This was the second time he has cooked for our hood and won’t be the last. FYI he is opening up a brick and mortar place near UW on the Ave…lucky dawgs! :) Thanks Carlos!

My company got this catered to our picnic today. This is absolutely, the literal most amazing food I’ve had in my life. You have ruined burgers for me forever, as I’ll never eat one as amazing. I can’t get over it.
